Laser Optics provided me significant experience with lasers and optical components in a wide variety of applications in physics, chemistry, biology, and industry. We were trained to use equipment properly and safely. We built our own apparatus and learned about different types of optical hardware, types and sizes of screw threads, types of tools, how to solder, how to search for parts in industrial catalogs, and how to troubleshoot computers. I am preparing an in-depth research proposal and seeking outside funding for the project.
