District at Teravista was absolutely incredible!! Not only did the girls and guys teams advance to Regionals, but Regents swept District. The teams placed first, Captain Thomas Hartman placed first, and I also placed first!!
Regionals were held at Eagle’s Bluff in Bullard, Texas, just outside of Tyler. First of all, a road-trip 4 hours away with 5 girls in the car with me was so much fun. And yes, there was some jamming out to classic Disney songs :). But our girls and guys teams placed second, Captains Will Driver and Thomas Hartman placed all regional, and I placed 2nd- All Region with a 76.
WE ARE GOING TO STATE!!! So excited to be leading such a wonderful group of girls this season. We are working hard and praying that our hard work pays off. But I know what my team and I are capable of, and I know we have a shot to play to our potential and compete for a State championship.
